Ca' Pozzo Inn is in a more strategic location than other Venetian inns. It is located in the "sestiere" or district of Cannaregio and, more precisely, in the picturesque "Jewish Ghetto" of Venice, close to the Ponte delle Guglie, the stupendous Venice Casino and the train station.

The esthetic choices that have resulted in the room furnishings are oriented to a style that is minimalist but highly sought-after with careful attention to details. A perfect balance of materials, light and color. The high-quality concept is also present in the services offered to guests and the environment that surrounds them. This is demonstrated by the extreme care with which the materials used to decorate the rooms and common spaces were selected, such as the exclusive Venetian floor, the precious wood, the "marmorino" walls, the paintings by contemporary artists and the ultra-flat TV screens in every room. The Japanese-inspired decor creates a truly unique atmosphere compared to other Venetian guest houses. A sensation of balance stimulated by the purity of the forms and the essential design of the furnishing accessories, selected one-by-one with care to create a harmonious ensemble that remains impressed in the memory of every guest.
The well-lit and elegant rooms are the ideal environment in which to relax after a day spent visiting the many artist treasures of Venice. The common spaces are places to discover, experience and savor, perhaps by reading a good book in the well-lit reading room or on the terrace.

All this just a stone's throw from the Ponte delle Guglie in the ancient "Jewish Ghetto" of Venice, a short distance from Piazza San Marco (reachable on foot or by vaporetto) and close to the train station.

Occupying two floors, Ca' Pozzo Inn has 15 double rooms, two of which are handicapped-accessible, an accommodation rarely found in Venetian inns. 10 comfort class rooms and 5 rooms, all decorated with particular attention to detail and equipped with the full range of comforts. The designer furnishings and sophisticated accessories with which each room is equipped represent an exception to the rule of Venetian guest houses. One surprising example are the ultra-modern flat-screen LCD televisions and Internet connections provided in every room.

Each room is unique, a jewel to be admired for the exclusive style with which its materials and furnishings have been selected. Here you will find anthracite stone floors, black wengé, Venetian pastellon, light wood parquet and "marmorino" walls in delicate colors like sky blue, pink and beige. The rooms are decorated with walnut furniture, the ceilings are enhanced with splendid exposed beams and the walls feature paintings by contemporary artists. Each room is provided with a full range of comforts including a safe large enough to hold your laptop.

Travel information

By air

From Venice's Marco Polo airport, you can take the ATVO "Venice Air Terminal" bus that brings you to Piazzale Rome in 20 minutes. You can then reach Ca' Pozzo with the no. 42 or 52 motor boat and get off at the Ponte delle Guglie stop; 50 m from the landing you will find the Ca' Pozzo portego.
Or, you can take the "Alilaguna" boat from the airport to the Fondamente Nuove. Once you've arrived, take the no. 41 or 51 motorboat and get off at the Ponte delle Guglie stop. Or, you have the option of taking a water taxi that will take you from the airport to the hotel.

By train

Get off at Venice's Santa Lucia station and take motor boat no. 42 or 52, getting off at the Ponte delle Guglie stop. If your luggage isn't heavy, once you've gotten off the train, you may also decide to walk to Hotel Ca' Pozzo. Exit the station and follow the Lista di Spagna, the long street that you will find to your left. In 5 minutes you will be at the Ponte delle Guglie; cross it and turn left for the fondamenta. About 50 meters from the bridge, you will find the Ca' Pozzo portego.

By car

Park your car in one of the Tronchetto parking lots (and take the vaporetto to Piazzale Roma) or park in Piazzale Rome and then take motor boat no. 42 or 52 and get off at the Ponte delle Guglie stop; you will find the Ca' Pozzo portego about 50 m away.
